Founder and Fund Manager, Kip, Clifford C. Adkins has extensive experience in Real Estate his Biography and experience is as follows;
Kip’s professional career spans 23 years of Real Estate Focus, including service with large corporations to his own small startup business ventures. He is an experienced entrepreneur with in-depth knowledge of managing large Real Estate portfolios, Managing and Selling Real Estate, Real Estate Investing, Private Fund Management, Raising Funds for Investments, Loan Origination, Risk Management and Underwriting. Kip holds a Bachelor of Science from Pepperdine University that was earned concurrently with the start of his career and the beginnings of his family. His career in the Mortgage Banking industry began in 1996 under the employment of The Wolf Firm (f.k.a. Wolf and Richards) a mortgage banking law firm, where he executed unlawful detainers for REO servicers. From 1998 to 2003, Kip served as an REO Asset Manager for GMAC/Homecomings where he worked on management and liquidations of a national portfolio of Real Property.
In November of 2003, Kip sought new opportunities as an REO Asset Manager at AMC Mortgage Services (f.k.a. Ameriquest). Recognized for his work ethic and knowledge, he was quickly promoted to the position of REO Manager in 2005. In late 2006, his experience and expertise allowed him to easily make the transition to AMC’S Loss Mitigation Department managing a special unit, dedicated to reducing the foreclosure rate and reducing losses on Real Property.
In 2007, Kip was ready to bet on his own success as an entrepreneur and started his own Real Estate brokerage specializing in selling Bank Owned Properties in California. In a short time, he has earned the respect of his peers and over the course of this venture he administered the sale of over $700,000,000 in Real Estate. Being an REO Broker allowed Kip to recognize the market trends and capitalize on real estate purchase opportunities for resale with profit. To date, Kip has directly or with financial partners facilitated and or sold over $30,000,000 in real estate flips both locally in California and throughout the United States.
Kip’s experience in Real Estate sales and Investing helped him recognize new opportunities in Private Money Lending, this venture proved to be a passive way to enjoy Real Estate Investing by lending 1st position liens to Real Estate Investors. This new venture started small in 2013 with the intent to deploy his personal funds to real estate investors and grew to the idea of a Mortgage Pool Fund. Kip was investor #1 in this newly formed fund and it grew organically beginning with a small sphere of influence then beyond to 93 additional investors and over $37,000,000 in partner investments all within in 5 short years – investors all enjoyed in excess of the preferred rate of return all years operated.
September 2019 Kip founded and formed Diversified Income Strategy Fund, LLC, with the purpose of diversification among Alternative Investment Opportunities, i.e. Real Estate Holdings, Real Estate Note Purchases and Fund to Fund investments with a primary focus on Real Estate Debt and Equity. Kip is investor #1 once again in this fund and his opening account was funded with $2,000,000 of his own money with additional monies from Kip being added as liquidity allows. As the manager and an investor in Diversified Income Strategy, Kip’s vision is to create income for investors while mitigating risk to align income goals for the best interest of all investors in the fund.
